Slon by Moreno Debartoli is a confectionery space located in the center of Rijeka. The name references the historic Slon brand, one of the production marks of Rijeka’s first industrial cocoa and chocolate factory, established in 1896, an important chapter in the city’s industrial development.

Our studio developed both the brand identity and the interior design concept, translating this historical reference into a contemporary expression rather than a literal reconstruction of the past.

The identity establishes a bold and recognizable visual character, while the interior combines warm orange seating, dark metal details, natural wood finishes, and a graphic feature wall centered around the Slon logotype. A vertical green wall introduces texture and contrast, balancing strong branding with a comfortable, inviting atmosphere.

The result is a modern confectionery environment that acknowledges Rijeka’s chocolate-making heritage.
